My father was a passionate photographer, and I think I owe him a great deal of my addiction to this art.

When I was a kid, he let me handle his nice Canon FTb camera and learn how to catch lights and scenes, then to print photos in a dark room, revealing bath, fixating bath… But I really dedicated myself to photography later, mainly when the digital photography rose.

More than a thousand of his photos, taken during the 70’s, were found a few years ago in a big bag full of negative films which I decided to scan (it took me a few weeks’ evenings). So here is now a small collection of his portraits and life stills from about 40 years ago, with nice black and whites.

The films were not preserved nor scanned in ideal conditions so the final rendering is far from being perfect… but the flaws make the charm.
